One of our long serving caretakers; Chris Crutchley has resigned from her post.

Chris has worked the evening shift for many years and we are very grateful to her for her long and faithful service to Langdon Square Community Centre.

Those of you who know Chris will remember how much she cared for all the groups using the Centre on her shifts.

We wish her all the best for her future.

Many of you will be aware of the sad news that this amazing publication has come to the end of its life.

The Coulby News was a free news paper which was conceived by Joan Cook and it she who continued to produce it all through its long life.

Joan would be the first to admit that she has many teams of faithful helpers, and thanks also go to them. However every organisation has to have a leader and Joan was the creative and motivating power behind this venture which had such a long life because it was so relevant to, and valued by, the people of Coulby Newham.

We wish Joan a long and happy retirement and we are sure that Coulby News will be remembered for many years to come as will the name of Joan Cook.
